NOUMASSA DEMBELE (b. 1994)
is a virtuoso balafon player and singer from Burkina Faso. He was born into a family of rich oral and musical traditions with a special cultural and social function - the griot line of storytellers, singers and poets. He has started playing the balafon at the age of six. He is also an accomplished kora player.
