IKSTARR, birth name Ik Opene is an international award winning record producer,performer and recording artist .
A London trained producer, his music has Hip hop, African, World and dance influences with very melodic and sometimes eclectic vocal delivery.
Ik's lyrics are very poetic, often romantic with sharp production values and orchestration. Combined with his boyish good looks, talent and charm, he is officially the new Crown Prince of the World-Urban generation.
He is also the originator of the NAIJA STYLE music genre, a fusion of Hiphop/R&B and West African percussion driven rhythms . He also fondly refers to this as World-Urban music.
