Telling The Real Story Through SOMALI SONGS - Aar Maanta (SOMALI MUSIC 2017)

In June 2017, I spent three weeks in three refugee camps to create three Somali Songs about 'Tahriib.' The illegally crossing of borders in the hopes of reaching better destinations. With the support of 'Telling The Real Story' program by UNHCR I was able to work with Somali musicians in camps in Ethiopia to produce this short documentary and songs.
