Black Birthright 2019 - Music and Dance in Senegal

In July 2019, Black Birthright took its inaugural trip with six Black American high school students to Senegal (a country located in Western Africa).
We had many extraordinary experiences throughout our journey, including several opportunities to dance and enjoy the sounds of Senegal. It was good to dance so hard in the places where our rhythm originated!
Black Birthright is a movement - focused on empowering Black Americans to learn, explore and understand their heritage. We're returning to the Continent in Summer 2020. Join us!
