Guitarist Deevo Dee on playing Somali music with Nimco Yasin

The Cedar Cultural Center just wrapped a month-long residency with London-based Somali singer Nimco Yaasiin. In April, she stopped into the studio of St. Cloud State University’s KVSC - 88.1 FM with her Minnesota backing band. In this video, Nimco's guitarist Deevo Dee talks to Producer Jeff Carmack about how playing in her band has challenged and inspired him as a musician.
