Central African Republic: Anthem About Mutual Respect

"We are all brothers and sisters, children of the same nation," sang the beneficiaries of IOM’s Cash for Work initiative funded by the EU in the Central African Republic. Under the Community Stabilization Project, the music group Les Princes Divins and IOM have produced an anthem about mutual respect. The beneficiaries were involved in the recording of the video clip and the song was written and sung in three languages: Sango, French and Arabic. Despite numerous technical and safety challenges faced during the filming and recording, the anthem was broadcast on national and local radio stations and served as an example of mutual respect and dialogue for communities.
