Major AJ is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper from Benue State, Nigeria. His love for music can be traced to his early childhood days, having spent most of his years in church choirs around Kainji town (Niger state), Ijebu, Ilorin and Lagos. His ardent focus on the Hip Hop and Afrobeat genre also influenced his interest in a venture which he, however, couldn’t pursue professionally until 2019.
In 2021, he joined Chocolate City music and released his debut EP "Retroverse" in July 2022.
