Anger and vulnerability are closely related in Alexis Hountondji's project Kofi. With his powerful sound he has already conquered international stages and festivals in France, Belgium and Senegal. Working with musical colors ranging from jazz-rock to dub to hip-hop and afrobeat, the Franco-Beninese delivers a wide-ranging fusion that raises questions about coexistence, the history of North-South relations and the sacred.
