Senegal | Senegal retreat w/ House of Notoire (Gorée, Saint-Louis, Saly &Dakar) | Senegalese Twisted

Hello everyone!
In this vlog, I'm in my natural element as the Unofficial Ambassador of Senegal! For the retreat that I organized with House of Notoire, we started in Dakar. We did a Jollof Rice cooking class with Aita from @gueun_bii. Then we went to the Museum of Black Civilization and combined that with a trip to Gorée Island. We also went to Phare the Mamelle for a fancy dinner with live music and an amazing view! One afternoon, we went to la Corniche des Almadies and enjoyed the view at Surfer's Paradise.
After a couple of days in busy Dakar, we headed to Saint-Louis. There we enjoyed the beautiful night life and we visited the Photography Museum of Saint-Louis. We enjoyed strolls around the city and even visited the hotel Au Fil du Fleuve. It is owned by a mixed (French-Senegalese) woman who came back to Senegal to run this hotel. It is a very authentic place filled with lot's of products made in Africa and plenty of books by Black writers!
When we finished in Saint-Louis, we headed back, but instead of going to Dakar, we went to Saly! There we stayed at this luxurious hotel with an amazing pool. We rested in Saly and enjoyed each other's company. After having spent our last days in Saly, we went to Dakar.
We closed off the retreat with the second Black Panther movie. It was a BLAST!!!

After almost 3 years, I find myself back in Dakar, Senegal. I plan on staying in Senegal for about 3 months. Mostly to work on creating content, connecting with local creatives and to work on some personal projects such as my next Wolof class.
