Senegal's former President Macky Sall has fled the country hours after Diomaye Faye was sworn in

Macky Sall, the former head of state of Senegal, has left the country immediately after the inauguration of his successor, Bassirou Diomaye Faye.  Although the destination of Sall's flight has not been officially mentioned, reports suggest that he is most likely to land in Paris, France. This is not surprising, as just a few days before his departure, the press reported that Sall intends to spend his retirement outside of Senegal.
