Awesome music from Mauritania - Orchestre Dental - Onakhara (Let's learn)

This video is from a rehearshal of a Mauritania's Band Orchestre Dental (United band). It was shot in february 2009 in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Onakhara means "let's learn" . The band leader - Baabi Sarr sing this song in soninke , and in this song he encourages Mauritanias people to learn their native languages. It is also interressting that this band havent have any public performance by now - they only meet together on rehersals on friday evenings and play for fun and for joy - and they play very well :)
