Bedouin journey through the Mauritanian Sahara (by camel)

I went to Mauritania to find the ancient Arab way of life. There, I found Mahmoud, in the caravan town of Chinguetti on the old trans-Saharan trade route to Timbuktu. I joined him (and his grumpy camel Shia) on the two-day journey to his winter camp.
